TORONTO, Canada. November 3 (T90) – A European club may soon be investing in the newly proposed Canadian top flight soccer league.
According to insider Anthony Totera, European investors are interesting in forming a CPL club in Ontario.

This isn’t a new idea at all, considering this already takes place in the MLS and the results are very good. NYCFC is partially owned by English outfit Manchester City FC, while New York Red Bulls are the product of Austrian energy drink tycoons Red Bull.
If this idea comes to fruition it could already significantly bolster the league’s financial status.
