OTTAWA, Ontario. January 24 (T90) – Canada will play Scotland in an international exhibition match in March.
The game is geared to be used as a warmup as Canada prepares towards the CONCACAF Gold Cup this summer, which kicks off in across USA in July.
“We are pleased with this opportunity as we continue to provide quality matches in our assessment and overall growth,” Michael Findlay, Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team Interim Head Coach told CanadaSoccer.com.
“Between the camps in January and March, our players from clubs both in Canada and abroad will benefit from this international match experience.”
Canada’s overall international record is 9 wins, 7 draws and 8 losses in 24 matches against all opponents through 2015 and 2016.
